The Administrative Hiring Division of the General Comptroller of the Republic (CGR) through its resolution R-DCA-104-2016, pronounced on February 4th. 2016, at 14:49 hours, to rejected the appeal from the other competitor that was looking to revert the adjudication act. This advice allowed SONDA COSTA RICA Corporation to win this abbreviated tender (acquisition of bandwidth telecommunication services for the Institution).

LEXING COSTA RICA law office defended GRUPO MAS Corporation in the ordinary process stablished by a competitor against BANCO CREDITO AGRICOLA DE CARTAGO (BANCREDITO). Through the Judgment Nº 51-2016-VIII pronounced on May 12th. 2016 at 10:00 hours, the Eight Section of Administrative Court rejected the lawsuit of the competitor receiving the exception of the lack of law filed by GRUPO MAS and BANCREDITO. In that process, the competitor mostly claimed the illegality of the adjudication act given to GRUPO MAS. As a result of the legal assistance provided by LEXING COSTA RICA, the lawsuit of the competitor was favorable to GRUPO MAS Corporation.
The law firm defended the interest of MICROTRONICS Corporation, in the abbreviated public tender number 2014LA-000025-02, promoted by RECOPE. The General Comptroller of the Republic of Costa Rica (CGR) by order R-DCA-134-2015 accepted the appeal of our client against the unsuccessful declaration order. The importance of this event is that the CGR annulled the act issued by RECOPE, which indirectly allowed MICROTRONICS to continue with the project.

The importance of this event is that our client was allowed to get a compensation from the defendant.

By Judgment N° 941-2009 pronounced on May, 2009, granted by the Administrative Court of San José, the Court established the increase of the land value per square meter by more than a 100% , located near Juan Santamaria International Airport. The importance of this case is that the law firm obtained and confirmed a Property competitive value of USD$ 175,00 per square meter.
Expropriation and lawsuit
Since 2006, LEXING COSTA RICA law firm, defended the interests of a Company that was subject to expropriation. Through the sentence Nº 1111-2008 pronounced on September 12th, 2008, at 14:30 hours, the Administrative and Civil Treasury Court (confirmed through resolution Nº 127-2010-II at 09:30 hours on March 19th, 2010 by the Second Section of the Administrative Court) increased the value of the property (located in the southern part of the General Cañas Highway) in around 25% per square meter, with a final result of USD$ 45,00 per square meter (total: more than 50.000 square meters.

In 2004, LEXING COSTA RICA law firm defended the interests of NAUTICA Worldwide Brand´s distributor in Latin America. As a result of this legal assistance provided by LEXING COSTA RICA, the stores and stock from the local distributor were recovered.

In 2001 LEXING COSTA RICA was hired for constituting and consulting services for the Costa Rican Commercial Bureau in Chile – PROCOMER office in CHILE- This office received legal support from Lexing Costa Rica, providing different courses and lectures to all Costa Rican exporters interested in placing their products in Chile, until the year of 2003.
